In 1985 the Italian Institute for Experimental Archaeology attempted a (re)construction of an early neolithic hut to test some archaeological features.

The pits found originally in archaeological excavations were tested in relation to the absence of postholes. The construction was made with a pit covered with a wooden floor with a soil level on top, strong enough both to preserve the pit underneath and to endure hearths. The absence of postholes led to testing a low earthen wall surrounding the pit on top of which the roof was built.
Main poles were simply put on the ground and justaposed to maintain the roof, covered with marsh weeds.
The hut can be visited by asking the keys to the local museum.
