The site of the celtic oppidum, which dates back to the II-I cent. BC, shows remarkable signs of the original construction, as the outer wall. Parts of the wall and a house have been (re)constructed.

The archaeological site has considerable extention and could have been the main settlement in the surrounding area. Portions of the wall, made with wood, soil and stones, clearly visible still today, has been (re)constructed to show the building underneath our feet.
The site is looked after by a local association which provides guided tours in the archaeological site and has run promotional activity to ensure good visibility for this outstanding monument.
Part of this activity has seen the (re)construction also of a celtic house which can be visited by appointment.
