Did prehistoric people use something like our buttons (CZ)?

The finds which we describe in the Czech Republic as buttons date to the Neolithic; they were made, for example, from bone or amber. But we do not find many of these artefacts. Clothes were fastened with pins and from the Bronze Age with fibulae as well or the clothes were designed in such a way that fastenings were not necessary – often they were just tightened with laces and belts.
