Terra Ibèrica Festival 2015

A new edition of TERRA IBÈRICA ("Iberian Land"), the festival of dissemination of the Iberian culture organised by La Ciutadella Ibèrica of Calafell (Tarragona, Spain) it will take place from 24 July to 1 August.

The festival program (see attached file) has activities for a wide range of public: workshops for children, night tours with theatrical parts, themed visits and crafts about Iberian world in European context (as a result of our participation in EU project OpenArch), activities for families and the gastronomic days with the collaboration of local restaurants who will offer a selection of dishes to customers inspired in Iberian products documented ("Cossetans a Taula").

This year's theme for the festival is Hannibal and the Second Punic War so Terra Ibèrica 2015 has a commitment with re-enactment activities with the living history show "Annibal ad portas" with the participation of some Spanish re-enactment groups of Iberians Mediterranean context civilizations.

Terra Ibèrica is one of the activities for OpenArch project funded by the EU Culture Programme 2007-2013.
