Bronze Forum

Event date:
Saturday, 13 August, 2016 to Sunday, 21 August, 2016
Kind of Event:
for Professionals

Imagine an archaeological open-air museum in summer at the edge of a legendary forest. For more than a whole week, this place will be all about bronze-casting. Dozens of people from all over the world will experiment with archaeology and bronze. There will be a fire, where ever you look: Our guest will live here day and night. In the evening there will be presentations of previous experiments.

Of course, we are result driven, but above all our intention is to bring people together with similar experience for more than a week of practical work with archaeological bronze casting in all its aspects. It will neither be a classic conference nor a Summer Camp. The work will be serious, but enjoyable.

The museum will be bilingual (German and English) during the bronze forum, the participants should stay at least three days in a row. We aim to offer a place to sleep in one of our historical houses, clay and charcoal for our participants.
