The participants of the 4th Iron Smelting Camp can take part in the reviving of the spectacular and interesting ancient iron smelting and processing technology. You can get to know the hard and laborious work, through which we will get:

The 4th Iron Smelting Camp will take place in Hungary, 40km south from Lake Balaton, next to where a 10th century bloomery workshop was excavated. Original bog iron ore deposit can be found near to the camp. We will burn the charcoal for ourselves in charcoal piles.
